The Green My Life App connects to your debit and credit cards, rounds up your everyday purchases to the nearest dollar, and donates the spare change to sustainability projects that offset your carbon footprint and boost the health of our planet.

For example, you buy a coffee for $1.95. The Green My Life App rounds that transaction up to $2.00 and contributes the 5¢ to our climate portfolio.

How it Works

 

  • The average person’s spare change amounts to roughly $20/month
  • This would be enough to completely offset the carbon footprint of the average Amercan (roughly 16 tonnes per year)
  • You set a limit on the amount you would like to donate per month
  • All of your round-up donations are aggregated and sent to Green Gas on the 20th of each month. You can cancel before it is sent.
  • The program is offered in partnership with Mychange.com
