Who We Are
Three friends trying to make a difference
Development Director & Co-Founder
I am, first and foremost, a human being in service. My mission is to help create a regenerative civilization, and to embody wisdom, strength and love. I bring experience in non-profit management, and social entrepreneurship to the field of climate solutions. I have built multi-million dollar brands, won a human rights award for my activism, served as a Marine Corps sergeant, studied environmental science and international affairs and made beautiful connections (and learned from mistakes) along the way. I am committed to growing the availability and impact of Green Gas. I believe people need to have the convenient choice to make more beneficial consumer choices, and that when they do, they will subtly begin to grasp their everyday actions are connected to our shared destiny. That’s why I love this project: we can create real impact for climate solutions, but we also are beginning to change the thinking behind our economic actions. In my free time I love to grow things, from gardens, to ideas, from businesses, to movements. Let’s make a difference together. 🙂
Executive Director & Co-Founder
Kyle Kornack is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Global Citizens Imperative, an environmental non-profit committed to crowdfunding climate solutions through democratizing the carbon market into the consumer landscape. Previously, he co-founded an organic beverage company, Jubali, where he worked as VP of Business Development to cultivate a multi-million dollar brand. He has worked in the renewable energy industry, where he led a marketing team in an energy efficiency campaign at Next Step Living. In 2012, he led an effort that brought the Wild and Scenic environmental film festival to Boston. Kornack holds a BA in Environmental Studies and Philosophy from Northeastern University, where during his studies he served as environmental educator in Boston public schools.
Operations Director & Co-Founder
A born and raised Vermonter, I was blessed to live close to a healthy and beautiful natural ecosystem growing up. It made a huge imprint on me, and I continue to love and appreciate the natural world. I have a background in wildlife conservation, food justice, and social entrepreneurship. In my free time I love to play soccer, eat nourishing meals, and connect with friends. With the scientific community strongly behind the science of climate change, and observable effects becoming more apparent by the day, I am convinced in our need for urgent action and a fundamental shift in the way we understand our relationship to the earth. This change won’t come overnight, but the work has begun.
